  • Access funding under the NDIS;
  • Inform goal setting and therapy.

Assessments typically include

Initial consultation:
Background information and concerns are gathered from the child’s parent/caregiver (and teacher, when relevant).

Assessment:
Assessments are conducted with child in the clinic. Questionnaires or checklists may also be completed by the parent/caregiver and teacher.

Psychological Report:
A comprehensive psychological assessment report will be written by the Psychologist, including results, recommendations & strategies, and relevant diagnosis.

Feedback:
The Psychologist provides feedback to the parent/caregiver (and educational setting, if relevant) regarding their child’s result, discusses recommendations, and answers any questions and concerns that arise.
