Biala has its own home where we often work. But Biala is also a group of people with shared values, who work directly across the wider Mornington Peninsula community. Biala is a not-for-profit organisation which can best be defined as ‘early childhood development and care from birth to twelve years of age’. Biala is a team of the highest quality health practitioners who provide child development and support services in such areas as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Early Childhood Education, Psychological Support and Counselling. Our team works in creative and flexible ways which focus on the goals you have for your child and family.

With a highly experienced team who enables the systems and processes to be managed efficiently and effectively, Biala are renowned for the exemplary delivery of therapeutic supports to children and their families. Everyone at Biala is committed to making a positive difference for children through direct interaction, various forms of therapy such as music and aquatics, family support and an absolute commitment to inclusiveness.

At Biala we offer individual & group sessions in person or online. We believe technology is a powerful tool to work in partnership with families. We are a registered provider of services through the NDIS and Medicare.

We work alongside families in a partnership model. Our team can work in your home and community including early education and care settings and schools and 'everyday' places. We love working in the places that are meaningful to your child and family. Our 'north star' at Biala is to help children feel like they belong and are connected to family and community life. Belonging and connectedness are key drivers for reaching learning and development outcomes for children.
